This ep was really good.

More and more I want to bang Evan Wood. I think it is clear that dude she **** was a host and she just overcame programming where she couldn't use a gun given she ready killed a fly. Can't buy that that dude is a guest :lol The frail guys with him might be though.

Plot thickened with that Arnold info dump. Seems he got this AI program that could evolve given the right updates.

:lol @ Teddy never getting that back story until now. Wyatt look like he rolling with Chinese assasins. Funny how that massacre in the town was MIB, guess guests can't become wanted criminals.

Nice twist that Bernard is the one that really awakened and explored Dolores' potential/possible consciousness.

Interesting end with the stray crushing its head so they couldn't get any info about what Halle as to it. That it even hit/shoved dude is a red flag. Makes me wonder if Arnold downloaded his mind in to the park's system altogether and that was his "death".

Did anyone notice that when Teddy was shooting them assassin dudes in the woods, that they werent flinching...

I dont think theyre really in the world, i think theyre guests

Also look at their choice of weapon, it was an axe

Cant that kill other guests if they actually hit them?

I need to watch episode 3 again i feel like.
A lot happened / was covered.

The Arnold thing i feel like needed to happen. I was thinking leading into it that the main programmer guy or Anthony Hopkins wanted the robots to gain consciousness and they were being sly. But knowing now that Arnold did it from the jump kinda makes it flow better story wise from this point forward for me.

Def love the show so far though. Waiting for the big twist though and the explanation of "the maze" or finding the center of the maze = freedom some how.

I was too tired to enjoy the episode, and pay attention. Gonna rewatch tonight

just blew through all the episodes that have come out so far. Show is dope.

and Rockstar teasing a new Red Dead game.

Westerns byke

Peoples knows whats up. I feel like since his son's gone, He out of dambs to give and wants to test Dolores to see if she'd take it the extra mile and do the puzzle (the office) and **** **** up.

the MIB is def Arnold. And he is the voice and vision of the hosts (the guests can't see him). Hopkins was saying That Arnold was obsessed with making the hosts reach that higher level of consciousness. It seems like MIB has been obsessed with teaching the center of the maze. Center of maze as we know now means freedom.

Maybe Bernard was a host who made it to freedom? Maybe Arnold got bernard to reach the center of the maze (freedom/the real world) and now he's being Bernard's voice in his head telling him to make others become free? Okay now I'm just rambling and I have no idea what's going on. I love this show though, it's gonna be real tough watching it 1 episode a week. Might just have to stop and binge at the end :/

Ep. 3 was great. So many questions still though :lol.

The stray host "killing" itself was pretty wild. Why did he do it? Could have some huge implications.
--
What's the deal with Dolores and things "un-happening"? In the beginning we see her open her dresser drawer and pull out the gun (assuming it's the one that voice [Bernard's?] led her to). But seconds later it's not there anymore. Then later in the episode she gets shot and starts bleeding, but seconds later she's actually not shot.

I'm thinking it's her memories of previous runs of her narrative, but it's not completely clear if that's what it is.
--
It's looking more and more like MIB didn't rape Dolores in that barn scene from episode 1.
--
In the teaser for next week's episode we hear Bernard telling Dolores about the maze and that maybe if she reaches the middle of it she can be free. What the hell is this maze exactly? And who else knows about it besides Bernard and MIB?
--
I have to watch it again, but those are the things that popped into my head as I was writing this post.

Im kinda confused about this episode

Dr Ford did a complete 180 on me

Wasnt he the one who modified the update to make the bots more human like?

then all of a sudden this episode he starts slashing their faces saying they are not real

One thing I don't get is why do narratives continue for hosts when no guests decide to part take?

This dude Teddy must've been washed hundreds of times based off of that alone :lol Seems to be a waste to keep repairing them cuz of that. Just let Dolores go to sleep.

Ford is in to playing GOD. He cares more about meaning and the story he's telling than the robots themselves. He wants them to be as human like as possible for his purposes but he doesn't really care about them outside of what he wants.

So he has no dambs to give about their decency.

I figured that maintenance tech just didn't wanna do his job with that robot's junk out.

does it play all the way out?

I mean I assume certain things do (since they are starting new memories and gotta keep something going while you have guest in the park).. but like major stuff, that would involve repairs, are we sure they continue.. like I think there was a guest with the crew that went to Dolores' place at the end.. like non-malfunctioning stuff

I really dont know
He wasnt a prick to the robots before this episode
his update basically gave the robots more conciousness than ever that essentially "awaken" them
He was nice to the robot kid and what not
I always felt like he always knew what was really going on inside the park but didnt address it
That was my perception at least

Then he slashed the face

Dolores is definitely the most tragic character

She was basically designed to get raped everyday

its sickening

Word. She gets raped and/or her family killed by other bots as her STORY every single day. At least when Teddy gets murked he has the option to go out in a blaze of glory by taking guests on adventures sometimes.

I felt bad for the prostitute bot after the second episode though. The techs draining all the ejaculate out of her and what not. Chick had Staph infection in her abdomen, then still has to get her back blown out all day. Scust. Just scust.

Also y'all killing me, 3 eps in trying to figure out who the man in black is. First William now he's Arnold :lol

I'll have to pay closer attention but it seems if he isn't preoccupied, Teddy sees Dolores, picks up her can then spends the rest of the day with her, then when she goes home, hears gun shots, then death and possible rape ensues.

I guess since that guest was rolling with that host that wasn't the narrative running by itself.

Well "GOD" is prone to mood swings in general. Nothing in the first 2 eps showed he disliked them or was cruel but the way he talked didn't make me think he cared for them.

Consider it a new layer to him being revealed.

His Arnold info dump let us know a lot more about the robots but to me revealed a lot about him in what he realized this park was and didn't fool himself like Arnold. The way he tells it Arnold was there just to pursue his own goals within Ford's and the shareholders' overall end goal and Ford's ongoing mission.

As for the hosts and their consciousness, this recent ep leads me to believe if Arnold's program is still running that leads to potential consciousness for all of the hosts and Ford was aware of it he only put in the new upgrades to better serve his ends. Not because he wanted to create artificial life/sentient life for their benefit or anyone else's.

loving this episode. i appreciate that they're balancing the cerebral stuff with action and drama. I'm still unsure how it'll all come together but if they can pull it off it'll be great.

this is just my speculation but I'll put it in a spoiler tag:

Arnold pulled a lawnmower man, uploading his consciousness into one or more hosts

or mib is playing the role of hosts, his goal being again to pull a lawnmower man. originally i was thinking Arnold could be mib but they know of mib as a recurrent guest, so it'd be odd for that to be Arnold

another possibility is that Hopkins is really Arnold and just made him up to fool the other guy
