one question....on Monoprice...is PID 3992 good as a HDMI cable for gaming?

Can someone answer this for me.......
I got some Dynex HDMI cables at Best Buy and for some reason, it limits the refresh rate to only 60hz on my TV when it should be at 120hz. I read on the boxthat I got the cables and it says it gives it a limit of 60hz. Is that possible for cables to limit that? My TV looks straight and all with the 1080p but itdoesn't flow how it should for some odd reason.
