hdmi ethernet cable uses?

i bought a wall mount and i got a free 10 foot braided gold tipped hdmi cable but it also says its full ethernet...all my things already have regular hdmi cables that we all know 
how do i use it or if i even have any use for it...my tv doesnt have internet capabilities my router/wireless doesnt have hdmi port...i have an xbox and apple tv

yea its a hdmi that says it can run internet but i dont really see how

Im not jacking your thread, i hope you get answers but I was just wondering, ive never had a hd tv before until last week. I got this for free with my Powerup Rewards Card from Gamestop
But my Tv doesnt have a port for that. Do I need to get the blue,green, and red cables instead?

My bad, i should have worded it differently. My boss is letting me borrow a 27 inch Sanyo Hdtv until i have the money to buy my own tv. I got the hdmi cables for free from gamestop. But On the back of the tv, there is only alot of Colored inputs. The hdmi cable I got from gamestop doesnt fit anywhere. Im just completely new to the Hdtv game. lol my bad.

Sounds like you need component cables? Just because a tv is HD doesnt mean it has hdmi inputs

Sounds like you need component cables? Just because a tv is HD doesnt mean it has hdmi inputs

yeah you can use the component cable (red, blue, green) and red, white (for sound)
for HD
