HDMI update*

I've had this problem for few years now but not solved and wanted to update to see if any new people whos see this have had this problem too??? I had the tv repair guy at my house cabele I/O and said nothing is wrong with TV or the box , im now using Port 1 and 2 for hdmi, but still having issues with sound cutting in and out, once in a while but no time when it will do it, the sound cuts with video game system too(xbox 360 is using Monster Hdmi wire..

They need to replace the box.


I had the same problem with my cable box, I had to use the component hd wires for the sound to work.


When they were scanning the box nothing was coming up saying the box was broken.


After an hour of them trying everything BUT switching the box ... they finally switched the box and everything is fine.
