sorry. but if anyone wants to visit NY and needs advice hit me up

You should go to L.A. you could hit up the famous Santa Monica Beach. The Hollywood strip and take a tour bus. Walk around melrose and shop while you get noservice. Venice beach and get a tattoo. Universal studios, Disneyland, 6 flags. Its all whatever your into and if your driving and how much your trying tospend. My suggestions- rent a car. L.A's transit system is nothing like New Yorks

i'm not really trying to go to disney/universal, i've been to FL & 6 flags in NJ. My friend and i really just want to capture the essence ofcali and have fun, not necessarily do a whole bunch of touristy things. and we are broke college students so renting a car AND staying in a hotel is prettymuch outside of our means. plus we'd like to drink and not be responsible for crashing a car.
i may have to ask general

Either stay in the city or near the beaches.
There's a beach right near L.A.X. so it won't be far at all.

you're not sure what part yet? no car is gonna be tough unless you plan on spending most of your time in LA.

okay maybe we'll get a car... but my other friends have been saying to go to san diego and then cross the border for a few nights and party inmexico... yay/nay?

NAY NAY NAY. Do not go to Mexico. TJ really is not a place you want to be walking around without someone at least sorta guiding you especially if it is only 2of you.

If you really want to visit a big city in CA and do so without a car, visit SF. SF has a TON of things to see and visit and has a really good publictransportation system. Also much easier to find cheap hotels. If you're going to do Socal though for sure do San Diego, it's much prettier/easier toget around and can be fun even without going to Mexico.

QFT. 2 girls in TJ wandering around by themselves is definitely asking for something. You thought the NT general had beasts? TJ is just

Stay away from TJ I know people from TJ who wouldnt go to TJ. %%*@ is a warzone at night. Downtown is kind of cool if you a hipster. The thing with LA its notcentralized. Want to go to the beach you drive across town. No car no fun simple as that.

if you need a los angeles tour guide holla atcha boy i charge by the kisses haha imagine haha nah but really it all depends what you wanna do and how muchyou're willing to spend.. shopping, sight seeing, eating, etc. shopping wise most stuff can be found online these days, but if you want to visit some niceboutiques and stuff you got undftd, american rag on la brea, proper etc for hypebeast stuff (superfuture.com will help you with that stuff) and beverly centeris not to far off. eating wise for cheap eats you gotta try in-n-out, pinks, roscoes, mana, any mexican spots like albertos, cactus #1 etc. for more expensivetaste you could hit up beverly hills. the best steak ive had was at Ruth Chris's, but it might be at NY too not sure though. it just all depends what youand your friend are into.

SF or SD is nice...Id go to either of those. TJ...listen to the above replies.
