Help dating a pair of Nike Court Flare

Hello!
I have a pair of Nike Court Flare which I think are from 1990. There is no date in the label but the style number is 9009 1 1 SI or something like that....I have included a pic below. Am I right in thinking the first two numbers relate to date??

I searched the late 80's and early 90's in the NIKE SOLE SYSTEM database for about five minutes before I googled the model name and found out it was a womens shoe.  The closest thing I found was the Court Profile in 1990.

Yup, only released as a women's shoe I'm pretty sure. I think the first two digits of the style number (90) refer to 1990.

Yep - this particular pair was made Sept 11, 1990.

Just out of interest do you know what the last two 'SI' or 'S1' (not sure which it is) characters stand for??
