Help! (G-Shock DW6900)

How do I remove the strap?
I can't figure it out and I don't understand what they mean by this

1. Use the spring bar removal tool to compress the spring bar toward the center of the band (there should be a small notch for the tool to grip).
2. Slowly swing the band outwards away from the watch case (be careful that the end of the spring bar or the tool don't scratch the metal case)
