Help: Housewarming Gifts!

My friends just bought a new house, and are having a housewarming party.

Since NT is the best at everything, could you help me figure out what I should get them?

Depends on the level on friendship man.. the Magic Bullet is awesome btw.. Bottle of wine.. Maybe even an electronic wine cooler (that's what I got my bestfriend).. Or maybe a nice decorative/fancy-looking plant/vase..

eh. I don't like giving household stuff like that though...b/c everyone has diff styles and tastes.

I like giving food.

Get them a new cookbook and maybe a gift card to a local grocery store.

Or go the gift card route and get 1 from Blockbuster, 1 from a grocery store, one from a hardware store and maybe one for like bed bath and beyond.

Once I got a friend of mine and his wife a "Night In The House Kit" You know....blockbuster gift card, popcorn, candy, pop and a margarita kit for 2(with some cheap plastic glasses). I put it in this big #*@ gift box thing. You could use the popcorn buckets from blockbuster as the "basket" andput pretty much anything in there.

I know they liked it, they still use the cheapy glasses for their "movie" drinks. LOL

There is nothing thoughtles about a good bottle of wine. Maybe the house has a theme from somwhere that you can find a bottle from that region orplace. Maybe the friend likes this wine or maybe even it is to open their eyes to a new one. So sir I say to you there is nothing thoughtless about wine.

I disagree. Small appliances may be one thing, but getting them home furnishings is a terrible idea. Everybody has different styles and tastes, so how areyou going to predict what direction they want to go with their new place? The last thing you want to do is give them something that contradicts their motif,while making them feel obligated to display it. On the other hand, if you know that they drink wine, it would make a great gift as you can never have too muchof it. Plus, they could enjoy it in...their new home!

I received an electric coffee bean grinder as a gift a few years ago and I use it damn near every day.

If they drink coffee, they may like one.
