Only fools pay sticker price on cars.
If you really want to get a good deal on a car, go to the dealership the last Saturday of the month, around 3-4pm and start your negotiating process then.
WHY? Salesman have quotas to meet for the month, they also have weekend competitions where if they sell 4+ cars that weekend, or 2-3cars in 1 day they win XX amount of prize money, which is sometimes HIGHER then the commission they make on the car, so they are more negotiable.
When negotiating, talk the price of the car down first. Get that to where you feel comfortable. ALWAYS reject the first few sets of # they bring you, the 1st one is the MARKED UP price, 2nd one is the price its supposed to be normally, 3rd set is usually where negotiating begins.
Why go for a 2007-2008 Honda Accord when they are IDENTICAL to the 2004 Honda Accord when they made the body style change. Save your dad some $$, even if he wants you to buy new, go used.
