Help Please!

So I just copped a iPhone 3GS and I was wondering how do you get a iPhone to work with Tmobile? I "used" the search bar and I couldn't findanything that would answer my problem. So basically it has the 3.1 OS but I need my iPhone to be jailbroken and unlocked so I can use it with Tmobile. Ifthat's not doable then can you please tell me how to unlock my iPhone? I know "how" but I need a good source of which place to get the softwareto unlock my iPhone so it doesn't mess up etc. Thanks NT(the ones with brains).

From my understanding, 3GS's can't be jailbroken yet, at least that's what I heard

it can, but make sure you do not update your iphone to 3.1.2. if you updated it, you are going to have to wait for a new tool

Wow seriously? Thanks for telling me that. Does anyone know how to unlock an iPhone regardless of the OS? I would be much appreciated.

Yeah you're right. I just assumed that all iPhone OS's had been hacked. I'm updating my iPhone right now but it's updating to 3.1.2....

Ok I just restored my iPhone but now it's on a locked screen and it says my SIM isn't supported is there anyway around this?
