For what? It's not over some damn generic "Kicks on Court" phrase, which I'm sure 100s of others have used as well.

When did nicekicks use the kicksoncourts name? If they didn't it should be easy for nightwing to fight the tm infringement

Doesn't really matter, they trademarked it.
And why trademark it if they aren't going to use it? It's not a slogan that would be good on a t-shirt like say Nice Kicks.

It's different. Apple does it so their competitors can't have a product do something similar or so they own the rights and can profit off it.
Nicekicks wants everyone to believe they trademarked it for absolutely no reason at all. They just did it because.
They can give him the boot anytime they want, if he becomes a threat or too big...or if Complex wants them to do something more.

It matters the same way Combat Jack with Complex is different than the podcast.
Long term it will matter that online content is becoming corporate controlled the same way it matters if people get their news from Faux News.
