Pre-ordered my CG's from www.sneakerbum.com back in August. I assumed I'd get them a little early, but at least by release date. I already copped my pairs from retail and still nothing from the pre-order, plus the CG page has been taken off the sneakerbum site.

I've tried e-mailing and calling but can't get any response. Anyone run into this problem or have any advice? Thx

have you tried messaging them on twitter? They were active 7 hours ago.

at this point I would file a claim with the credit card company ( I hope you used a credit card) b/c it seems like you won't get them if they aren't responding

unless the site is very legit, never pre-order anything...take it as a lesson but you shouldn't have a problem getting your money back if you file a claim

The only problem I see with this suggestion is that they require paypal. After 3 months of not filing a claim against them you're usually screwed if the shoes don't come your way. I'm not sure if escalating it to the card company is going to help much, but then again I've never been burned on a purchase.

Paypal, they won't even care after their time frame and they barely care in it.

Hopefully this site doesn't scam you b/c it seems fishy he had them for pre-order in time that the 90 days would be up by the time they should have gotten to buyers

good luck OP

That site had the Black 'Playoff' 13s available for "pre-order" in June or possibly even May...
does that sound legit? And without fail the website makes my internet freeze...
I don't trust that site. More contact, if they have a real twitter - post your problem there, etc.

One of the responses was on point, and lesson taken to heart.

Never do pre-orders for anything, besides scams and whatnot you also run into the possibility of the establishment folding between the time you pre-order and the actual release date.

Yeah, I never let any company keep my money for more than 30 days and I ALWAYS pay with a CC. Call your CC company right away.

Yeah - hindsight is 20/20. Dealt with PayPal and Wells Fargo tonight. Not sure what the resolution will be, but it's definitely a lesson learned. Hope to see sneakerbum at the Got Sole III expo. Should be fun.
