so the state makes revenue whichever way it can and puts it in a pot, and at the end of the day it has to pay the federal government back from that pot ... part of that pot consists of this eventual tax money and therefore it contributes to paying the federal government back ...
i never said this is the only thing that will pay back the fed govt, but as i did say, each state will be looking to incease revenue anyway it can in order to pay back the increase of funds that will be taken from them by the fed govt ...
the government isnt profiting off this tax increase directly, but rather indirectly ... learn to look one step further and not analyze everything for face value
states dont have to pay back the federal gov't.
