I think that is ignorant thinking to be honest man.  And I disagree with it.  If you would have said this 2 years ago, I could completely agree because dubstep and its producers got heat from most of the electronic genres...but today, dubstep is embraced as a genre.  It can't be any more evident than the fact that every time I go to a show of a famous DJ of house or trance, they play dubstep.  Tell me why half of Tiesto's set last time I saw him was dubstep?  While there are pureists out there, overall the electronic world has embraced dubstep imo. 

We could be having this same conversation when hip hop was first evolving.  People need innovation in music and life.
