No way should Judge Judy be pullin in 47 mil a year. How is that possible? What kind of ratings does her show get?
Like someone said......she seems like a horrible person that doesnt deserve that kind of money.

I thought Claire Danes would be pullin in more than 250k an episode.

Judge Judy took her spot.

Oprah moved up through owning a network.

She bringing in the 100's of millions. Different league

this. oprah and millions prolly shouldn't even be in the same sentence, that woman is worth 2 billion last i remember...

moms watches her almost every night. its ridiculous she makes that much for ethering people's souls and lives because she's on air. but apparently that equates to quality lulz, and u really see some dumbass people on that show.

I see you Daily but Colbert >>>>>>>

lol nah ive heard similar statements. hard to argue, i see it a different way. colbert embodies the satire, his character is an oxymoron, and brings MAXIMUM lulz to his show. but he stays politically on point in his criticism. he truly does exceptional work, and he's become a master of his craft. now as a result, he literally has a cult following, word to colbertnation.

stewart, is more serious, so he bring the lulz down to like 50-75% but he is the grandmaster at what he does. and his team covers really quality stories that the mainstream news outlets wouldnt report on, or don't give a **** about. its scripted, but its with a purpose, and the stories are usually important. (for like 95% of stories at least, some stories are just silly).

colbert/stewart are a great source of information and i frequently use them to get up to speed on current events, in addition to other sources.

in total he would have made over $100 million on the deal :x

dude would be destroying everyone right now

How much do they get for syndication? Judge Judy re-runs are on all the time and i know seinfeld is in syndication. Is that a flat deal or a per episode deal too?

And wasn't every Friends cast member getting $1mil per episode during the final seasons....i remember them saying like David Schwimmer (sp? Ross) wanted them all to get paid the same so there was no contention and they all got a mil per episode

I pretty much hate all CBS shows since it seems like its an old peoples network and just the way the shows are shot looks dull on TV, but look at this guy Mark making half a million AND points per episode. Anybody even watch that show?

I'll watch a few episodes if the storyline's interesting. It's been the most watched drama show for a few years now. You'd think with all that money he's making he'd be able to get a decent haircut. Worst haircut on a leading actor in a #1 show ever.

Yea I always wandered how much actors get paid in syndication money once they finish making new episodes.
How much do GIllian Anderson and David Duchovny make off X-Files on a yearly basis? How much does everybody get from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air? Do they all get the same amount or Will Smith gets the chunk of it?

Meh... I'll take Julia Louis-Dreyfus. She could have never met Seinfeld and would still be crapping on the masses. I knew there was a certain "glow" to her that I just couldn't put my finger on. All I knew is that I was madly in love... |I I love you, Julia. :frown:

Rumors are her pops favors her too (since she made all her own money and didn't just get in the family business).

Worth billions she is.

According to Forbes magazine, Jerry Seinfeld's annual earning from Seinfeld, in 1998, was $267 million, making him the highest-earning celebrity that year.[30] Seinfeld still generates more revenue than most current shows, through syndication and DVD sales. He reportedly turned down $5 million per episode, for 22 episodes, to continue the show beyond its final season.[31] He earned $100 million from syndication deals and stand-up appearances in 2005 and $60 million in 2006.[32][33] He also earned $10 million for appearing with Bill Gates in Microsoft's 2008 ads for Windows.[34] Between June 2008 and June 2009, Seinfeld earned $85 million, making him the highest-paid comedian during that twelve-month period.[35]

Syndication of Seinfeld earned David an estimated US$250 million in 1998 alone. This amount has been steadily decreasing each year, but payments will continue until the full $1.7 billion from the original deal has been paid in full. In 2008 David made $55 million from Seinfeld syndication, DVD sales, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.[21][22] He was nominated for an Emmy award 19 times for Seinfeld, winning twice—once for best comedy and once for writing.[23]

The stars were paid, per episode, $75,000 in the third season, $85,000 in the fourth, $100,000 in the fifth, and $125,000 in the sixth season.[23] The cast members received salaries of $750,000 per episode in the seventh and eight seasons, and $1 million per episode in the ninth and tenth.[12] The cast also received syndication royalties beginning with the fifth season.[21]

HIMYM's jokes are extremely corny, cheesey to me. I guess that's its appeal.
