Added one girl I went to school with on Snapchat like two weeks ago. We chatted it up(basically just catching up) for a few minutes. Left me on read. Hit her like yesterday, just to check in. She responded and even had a follow up question. I answered and left on read yet again. She's watching the stories if that means anything lol. What should I make of this? If there's any backstory, we were never cool like that but we had class together. I just remember making her laugh(the entire class really, including the teacher) back in 8th grade.

If you want to talk to her then talk; be up front, direct and get the number .

Just know if she’s interested, she’ll show it but it goes both ways.

The bolded cannot be stressed enough. These yambs are willing to give you a chance based off whatever it may be (looks, style, previous memories, social media posts, etc). The problem seems to be that when you start talking to them you just dribble in place and take a contested 35-footer when you could have gotten off a much cleaner look if you just used your communication more effectively.

Grine is right, you shouldn’t stress about if they reply or not because they will if they are interested. However, if you do it should show you that since communication is inconsistent, you need to strike if/when they respond. You’ll do a lot less worrying if you just get to the point.
