I love fishing. Extremely fun hobby. Just moved to Richmond the past winter and I can't wait until spring break. So many lakes, ponds, on top of the river to choose from. Not keeping anything though. Cleaning fish in an apartment building is not something I'm about to do.

I think my IKEA date idea back fired, well, a lil, lol. I matched with this Spanish/Canadian chick on Hinge, she was down to meet at IKEA because she was looking to switch up her living room and kitchen space. She said, "IKEA is a great date idea, I've never thought about it". Anyways, long story short, I bought a few things, but she had the most of it. My total was like $25, and her was about $70. We put all our stuff in one bag (I was holding the bag). We were in self checkout. The lady waived us to an open checkout, we get there and this happen...

Me: Do you want to go first, or should I?
Her: First, for what?
Me: To checkout. Ill be fast, I only got 2 things
Her: 2? Your not paying for everything?
Me: Uhhh noooo. Why?
Her: Oh, I thought you were,
Me: Why?
Her: Umm because you took me here?

I'm gone, I'm like damn she got a point. Not because I should pay for her stuff, but because I did ask to meet here. In any other occasion, you ask a girl to the movies, dinner, event etc. where there is a pay requirement, your paying right? I felt trapped, was thinking of some witty or funny line, as this literally was happening in the moment, in a matter of seconds. So I just told her this

Me: We can discuss buying furniture when we move in together.
Her: Awww okay.

Yes, it was a corny *** line, but it worked. She smiled, swiped her card and we walked out. No backlash, went to dinner, went great. Saw her yesterday too. I think my line only worked because she was really into me, was very flirty in IKEA and when ever she looked in my eyes, I felt she was staring at my ancestors souls

I'm just messing with you Your stories are much appreciated, and I would be lying if I said I haven't found myself in some unusual situations as well.
