I can't be the only one who's thinking about this. Hip hop needs a new movement like dipset, wu-tang or rocafella. Any thoughts? Agree/disagree?

I like a lot of underground rap, so what ? I also listen to all the mainstream classics too. Dipset on the other hand is a disgrace to hip hop. Show me one good song, hell, show me one verse with decent lyrics. A lot of people I know are huge dipset fans who could recite any song they ever made off the top of their head and still call dipset garbage music that they only listen too because it's "catchy". Too me, that's pop, not hip-hop. No substance at all just made to sell and get quick $ of kids who don't know any better.
You like dipset wayne gunit gucci kanye and whatever else, good for you. I don't, it's whack to me. That's my opinion and I could care less what you think.
Anyway, back on topic: I want hip-hop to return to the great years. ex: 89-94, 96-00 are time periods that are pure

What about '95?
I'm totally with you on the years you mentioned, but I'd go with '87 (I'd say '89 too if it wasn't for EPMD)- 00, '95 included.
