NT is a large network of individuals working in many different industries. I know a lot of us have some holiday party's coming up. Let's discuss plans for yambs, outfits, drinks, etc...

Past holiday party stories are more than welcomed....

My holiday parties are usually on polar opposites really wild or strangely tame.

I missed this years because my brother had a football game but ill share some past stories when i get a chance later today.

I have a holiday party coming up next thursday.

I work in a educational environment and I think the principal did this purposely set it on thursday instead of friday so the teachers won't go ham at the party.

I plan on drinking heavy on that day. Yambs? we shall see

People in my city who work at quicken loans got it good. Dan gilbert drop a couple of them thangs every year on their party. They rent out a huge room at mgm casino and have live DJs, a1 catering, TVs everywhere with Xbox 1s and ps4s and open bar.

my job's holiday parties are terrible...they rent out a local restaurant for a few hours (this year is 12-4p) and many people return to work after

my office atmosphere is depressing, which is why i telework most of the time

No, I'm on the same boat as you.

Holiday Party consists of an hour of catered food, forced conversations with the site manager, and a uncomfortable round of White Elephant.

I think what makes the office atmosphere terrible, is that the site manager doesn't know how to manage. They manage by making them happy so people like her and always tries to justify how good of a manager she is...

...When really she depends on her supervisors to do all the work and submits all their reports under her name.

So far I got nothing. I work retail so, yeah. Hopefully my girl's job has one I can go ham at. If not, party with friends I guess.

I work for time Warner cable in the executive office... The party is gonna be at BB kings Times Square on a Friday... Open bar good music etc... Got a few biddies in my line of sight...

I worked in the financial sector back in the day... The traders were doing lines in the bathroom getting wasted in front of everyone. One chick did E and wound up face first in the bathroom foaming out the mouth... Lol

She was sent to HR the following week... Lol

I work for NuSkin Ent. in Provo, Utah.

They rent out the University's basketball arena and set it up for a show. This year we are having American Authors perform...

I don't really know them, but still low key excited.

In the past we've had LeAnn Rimes and Lonestar.... country >D

They always give every year, two weeks paid bonus.

an American Express gift card worth 1000 dollars, a random gift in years past it's been: Apple TV, 250 dollar gift to NIKE, the Fire tablet thing, goPro and etc...

They also draw names of everyone in the company for a chance to win a car, macbook pro, macbook air, basketball hoop, blendtec, ski passes, and so many other things, These you only have a chance to win though, everything else above is what you normally get every year.

Shumpert should be brought in to perform if he really cares

Going to my girl's company party at Reunion Tower. Open bar :smokin

Getting a room there so we don't have to drive and I can just take the elevator str8 into the yambs. :smokin

I had my insurance broker parties last week. It's like 5 parties all in one night and you just hope to one and the other just getting free drinks and apps. It always becomes sort of a **** show at the end but it's pretty funny to see corporate people let their hair down for once. From stories I hear in the past, these corporate parties were insane with people pretty much hooking up with married people at the end of the night and other such drug fun.

On a related note, my uncle used to work for Zynga who created Farmville and they rented out a club one year and hired Sugar Hill Gang and Tone Loc to perform. Apparently the CEO is some sort of old but young guy at heart. Tech guys have all the fun.

I work at an ad agency so our holiday parties are a complete ***** show.

The after party is even worse.

It's an excuse to get wasted and hook up with co-workers/disregard wedding rings.

^^^^Yeah, it's pretty funny. One party I went to, these older managers were all looking for the new receptionist that had to be the age of their daughters. People just have no disregard.

Our Holiday party really isn't a party, its more like a fancy lunch or dinner.

We get into work at regular hours and work for like 2 hours. At about 11 am, the party bus is here to pick us up (theres about 12 total in our office).

If its a dinner thing, then we work our regular 8 hours, go home, get dressed, get the wife and head to a restaurant of his choice. These are more expensive so its rarely done.

Our boss likes to take us to a Fancy Restaurant in Beverly Hills and there, we have a 7 course meals.

All meals come with their own wine. Its nice and all but I dont drink alcohol so Im like whatever about it. But the food, OMG the food is great. We eat beyond well at these events.

The first time Ive ever tried caviar was at our holiday party a few years ago.

Not sure what we're doing this year, but what I do know is that it will be a lunch thing.

My company holiday party is on the 15th. For some reason they changed the date from the 17th. I would usually take the Friday off so I can recover. Anywho the company party or should I said company "meeting" consists of lunch then a state of the union type of speech from the CEO then it's socializing with some games and stuff. Ehh it's alright, this year they want us to write these so called tweets on the company dashboard so that it would be used as a slideshow during the event. They want us to talk about our time with the company, Ughh.

What's everyone planning to wear?

We have ours next Wed...ugly sweaters and white elephant exchange. It's ALWAYS a good time w/ plenty of laughs.

Used to have a potluck type thing and kris kringle. We would close shop early and hit the conference room.  But a lot of the cool fun rich people left so we havent done **** last 2 yrs b/c everyone hates each other hahahahaha. A ugly sweater thing would be dope.
