Wish I could be alone. My parents are cool but I HATE my relatives and family friends that live here in the US got invited to my friends' Christmas parties with their families but I'll put up with mine just to keep my parents happy

My first year in banking post college I worked all day Christmas eve and ended up working into the early hours of Christmas. Felt pretty miserable being in there knowing that most people are at home chilling lol. Looking back at it, can't believe I went that year only taking four days off :x

Been at my job a year and a half while going to school full-time.

I've taken 1 day off.

Family's in another country and I can't afford to go back. Girlfriend is back in her home country.

Not many friends here and they're obviously with their own families. I can't even go into work because the office shuts down until the 28th and it's mandatory we take the days off prior to that.
