How did double standards become prevlent in society today?

If a male has sex with a lot of females, he's a mack. If a female has sex with a lot of males, she's a ho. Is this double standard and double standards in general are deep-rooted in our society? Do these standards date back to the times of cavemen & cavewomen? :nerd

Like I said before this ain't true everywhere.  Most of europe for instance is acceptable for women to just enjoy sex which is the same view that I hold.  That's why european women tend to be more liberal regarding sex

The beauty of this is, it's also perfectly acceptable for you not to pay for anything. Not talking on some freeloader type steez, but you can be involved with a chick expecting something out of you and not give her a dime.

Hypocrisy comes naturally to human beings.

Add in the insecurity, false sense of superiority, and the selfishness wrapped in fearing the unknown along with hating what you fear and double standards are just a common symptom of society since it's conception.
