Anytime i watch something involving a rope bridge i ask myself this same question...

I've always wondered how they would make bridges across deep canyons back in the day. Fking magnets, how do they work?

same here, most recently with that adam sandler and jen aniston movie, my theory is they tie the ropes to rocks, throw it to someone on the other side, anchor the ropes and build from both sides towards the center

Of the canyon and grab that end of the bridge. Then they would take that end across to the other side and somehow climb the
Canyon while holding on to their end of the rope bridge. Finally once they climbed that side of The canyon they would fasten the
Bridge and it would be suspended across The canyon.
I know that you Haveyourownopinion, but, what if the length down was way longer than the distance across? or vice versa? What would they do then?

My guess is they would build the bridge, then lasso one end across to the other side. Then some brave soul will climb/crawl across the rope bridge and tie the other end.

yeah, this is how is did it back in my village.
