put chapstick on before goin to bed...i do this every night and never had dry, chapped lips

don't really like carmex if it's not a stick
the taste/smell is

I've been using carmex for about 3 years now, I used to use X-balm but it melts too much.

burts bees ideally, however, when peeling occurs, i wipe my lips with a tshirt and it works perfectly. sounds wierd, but those with peeling skin know what i'm talking aout.

I'm saying they are not always clean.. unless you go the bathroom to wash your hands before using it all the time.. What if your on the court playing basketball? In the middle of class? at work? etc... Just because your fingers don't appear dirty doesn't mean they aren't..

OP, to get the dead skin off of your lips, rub your toothbrush over your them when you brush in the morning or your face towel when you wash your face. That'll exfoliate and slough all that stuff off. If you do that and use any of these lip balms, you'll be set.
