1st off let me say that i am ADHD and alot of things i used to do was based off my emotions and not thinking it thru
as a kid me and my pops would get up every saturday morning watch cartoons eat breakfast and play checkers
by the time i turned 14 i guess he was ready for me too grow up and stop relayin on that ADHD as a cop out
that very next saturday he pulled out the chess pieces now im like {
} cuz chess was for nerds and them other dudes with the thick glasses IMO bac then
i told him that the only reason he switched games cuz i was beatin him and he couldnt take losin to me and he told me
"son checkers is a kids game chess is a thinkin mans game"
since then ive used chess as a way to keep my minds eye sharp
how do you do it
