As for the American-raised individuals of my race, I've been more content than ever since starting college and not seeing them as much. Prior to making my selection, I checked to make sure there weren't a large number of them who attended the schools I had contemplated on going to in my senior year of high school.

The behavior of the females is the main determinant in me believing I will more than likely marry outside of my race as well; it has absolutely nothing to do with physical attraction. I still would marry a girl of my race, but the odds are minuscule. The looks, or "look-aways," I get from them when I'm with a female of another race are quite annoying (I know this pretty much happens within any group, but it's probably worse for someone who wishes they were another race, like myself).

I'm fully aware of how bad it actually sounds, and how I'd probably never be able to convince someone that I'm not crazy for feeling this way, but I honestly feel better off mentally. Most of the lewd, racist things I've experienced in my life have been caused by them.

Imagine forcing yourself to become friends with a group of people who generally don't care to present themselves positively in society, treated you as though you weren't welcomed around them throughout your life, and found you to be weird simply because you were into different forms of entertainment. That's basically what I'd be doing if I were to make an attempt to be around them more.

now you really gotta tell is what the ++@% you are

if he's not black then he's spanish...

i think he's spanish too...

edit: OOOOHHHHH middle eastern, that's a good one

Spanish = From Spain (European) which I highly doubt. My guess is Middle Eastern.

Look at it this way, you have like 60 posts, no one really knows who you are or what you look like, you have nothing to lose.

It's not about having anything to lose; I'm fully aware of the protection I have with anonymity of the internet, I simply don't feel the need to offend that group on here, or to have them tell me I'm lying.

I think I have an idea, but am not sure how, exactly, you think you would get a better grasp of what I'm saying if I were to state what I actually am. Like, would some of you be less surprised if I were to say I'm Black or Latino as opposed to White or Asian?

I really don't, actually. Like I said earlier, I have distanced myself from them since starting college, and haven't been this comfortable in years. Trust me, I won't be slitting my wrists anytime soon.

It's reached the point where I honestly don't feel I'm missing out on anything from not being around them. Like, other girls are sooo much easier to converse with, and are more friendly. I'm more ashamed of my race, though; I just can't lie about it the way I do with my family's ethnicity. If I could, I would. This is really just a case of me being realistic about their actions, and what has been done / said to me throughout life.
