How far are you willing to go to protect the current female in your life?

I've dated black women before so I understand not everyone is understanding or enthusiastic about your relationship. I've gotten jumped and had bar-stools broken across my back to defend past relationships. Is there a limit to how far you're willing to go to protect this relationship in that kind of situation?

Let's put it like this. There are things I wouldn't even feel comfortable talking about on here.

This doesn't pertain to just my wife but also my mother.

My wife is the sweetest, most beautiful human being I've ever known. I am the complete opposite. That's why we work.

Even in my story, the aggression isn't directed at her. It's directed at me.

She doesn't get herself into trouble or start problems. Sometimes people try to take advantage of her kindness though.

That is something I will not tolerate.

I've dated girls who were wild, and popped off in bars etc. I used to mix it up because of them until I realized how ridiculous it was to defend an instigator.

But wife and moms....I'd say there is no limit.

sorry fam. I can understand if you have a serious girl and what not but even when I get married, my mother will always be #1 to me. Sweetest woman in the world. She along with my father brought me into this world, raised me and my brother extremely well with great values, and have made so many sacrifices beyond my comprehension, most of which i dont truly know or appreciate.
 I would literally do anything to keep her from feeling any ounce of sadness. My happiness relies on my parents happiness. Everything I do is for them, especially with school. One of the main reasons I look forward to graduating and getting a job is to pay for them to take a nice long vacation back home to the Philippines. They haven't been there since I was really young. /offtopicrant
