Co-worker tells me her car got broken into around U St.

First thing I ask her, "Did you have anything visible in your backseat."

Her: Yea, my bookbag

Me: sly

Her: Yea I guess.

I mean come on, we live in a MAJOR Metro area. The hell do you expect when you leave stuff visible?

When you get out of the car, don't leave ANYTHING visible.

Loose change

Auxiliary Cables (Where there is a cable there is a device in the mind of a person looking for a car to break in to)

Bookbags/Purses/Gym Bags

GROCERY BAG (yes, when you go from on store to the ext, put that stuff in your TRUNK)

Books: This is a personal theory. If a criminal sees a book in your car, they might think you are a b*tch so they might think if you read, you might have some $ somewhere. So you might open yourself up as a target. Don't take any chances either way.

Just leave your damn car clean man. Simple as that.

You get in arguments with women for even trying to tell them this, like i've never seen a window smashed and a dude book it with the purse.

That would be a funny visual, but leaving a purse on that backseat is a ticket for death man.

OP what's your thoughts on tinted windows. Is that an invitation into someone's car since they can not see into the whip.

Bruh! My girl is so naive to this it pisses me off. She will leave her phone and wallet in the seat and have the doors unlock.

TO ME, tinted windows somewhat invite a different type of attention to your car (If you know what I mean). You create a new type of curiosity when you are tinted. They might think, "They might be hiding something."

That is my thoughts and how EYE would think if I was a person that broke into cars.

I do the fish bowl thing

God will protect her.......

I have plastic rims on the whip.

Legal limit tint.

Still haven't been broken into. Outside from the tint (I smoke and drive, dat discretion)...

Realized it's just best to never bring attention to yourself. Chameleon in these streets b

Some of these people may as well leave their keys in their car with the door open

I'm not about that fish bowl life. But I'm talking that illegal tint. 5%-15%,tint

Hiding grocery bags and aux cords are OD :lol

Everything else is common sense

Who doesn't put stuff like groceries in their trunk though? Most of this is just pure common sense :lol

The new juug is taking folks handicap placards :rolleyes

Scumbags smashed my girls window for one on her birthday.

You sound like those dumb criminals on Bait Car DC :lol

"You left the door wide open! Was I not suppose to steal the car?!"

@Rolaholic  plenty of folks put it on the floor on the back seats. When I leave the store, I put stuff on the floor on the backseak, not the trunk because it is easier for me to take it out there than go to the trunk when I get home.

Damn I guess not everyone :lol. It doesn't even take more than 10-15 secs to get stuff from the trunk though

People leave all types of stuff in their car. From laptops, to phones to other valuable items in plain site. So many people live in a bubble and don't realize the environment they are in or where they might be traveling to even within their city. You have to be smart out here and hide your valuables. The wolves are hungry out here.

Your man @Peep Game  got it last year because he left his IPAD on the passenger seat

. I had him in mind when I made this thread

Can't lie when I was young I used to break in people cars. We use to go to movie theaters and do damage. It's amazing how many people are so nonchalant.

See now leaving something valuable like an Ipad on the seat is different, that's just all the way bait :lol
