Co-worker tells me her car got broken into around U St.
First thing I ask her, "Did you have anything visible in your backseat."
Her: Yea, my bookbag
Me: sly
Her: Yea I guess.
I mean come on, we live in a MAJOR Metro area. The hell do you expect when you leave stuff visible?
When you get out of the car, don't leave ANYTHING visible.
Loose change
Auxiliary Cables (Where there is a cable there is a device in the mind of a person looking for a car to break in to)
Bookbags/Purses/Gym Bags
GROCERY BAG (yes, when you go from on store to the ext, put that stuff in your TRUNK)
Books: This is a personal theory. If a criminal sees a book in your car, they might think you are a b*tch so they might think if you read, you might have some $ somewhere. So you might open yourself up as a target. Don't take any chances either way.
Just leave your damn car clean man. Simple as that.
