i got like 22.4G.......barely 50% of that made it to the iPod

i got a couple questions for people with insanely high amounts of music (50G+)

1.do you actually listen to ALL your music or do you still have a rack of stuff you havent gotten yourself to listen to yet?
2.how do you go about choosing what song you want to play? i mean for me, especially when i got the iPod hooked up in the car, i can never just let it play. igotta get my "dj" on and shuffle through songs every minute.(definitely not for people without good hand-eye coordination

)
3.do you just download*legally*

whole albums just for a few tracks?
