How to avoid getting EBay scammed

Receipt isn't a guarantee they are not fake. Dude could have kept the real pair and put some fakes in the box with the receipt

eBay's a little better than it used to be. Sellers actually had the advantage. The "buyer protection" had a lot of hidden terms that left you no recourse if a seller straight up didn't send you what you bought and or if it got lost or stolen in the mail. eBay's customer service would just play hot potato with you. I wouldn't be surprised if they got hit with a class action suit someday because there has to be millions, if not a billion or two, in shady transactions. It really has to be the case when eBay used to deal with checks and money orders too.

Can’t believe this is still an active topic in 2017.

If you need tips on how not to get scammed on eBay, my suggestion would be to not even bother.

Stick to buying/selling locally.

Video is dumb and I didn’t even watch I.T

You can get scammed on eBay very very easily even with all the proof and signature, etc etc

Sell locally end of story
