How to hook up computer speakers????

I have the logitec x530 and it has 5 speakers but only two of them work when plugged up. There are jacks in the back of the sub but the speakers dont work when put in. There is some attachment that you need to hook the 5 of them up and get them to work. My boy got it from some walmart but now they dont have them anymore. PLZ HELP

return them and get yourself a nice 2.1 system (klipsch pro medias are like 130ish and sound great). unless you have the room for a PROPER 5.1 set up.

I have the x540 system and I needed to get two 3.5mm splitters to get sound out of all the speakers. Its not true surround sound as its just 2-channels sent through 5 speakers. Get 2 of these from Radioshack or someplace: http://www.monoprice.com/...7&seq=1&format=2

Plus one of the splitters into the other so that you have 3 female and 1 male. Plug the male into your PC then plug the 3 speaker jacks (Front, Rear, Center) into the three female openings. Again, its not surround sound just sound through all the speakers.
