How to paint Nike Dunks

I used acetone to remove manufactures finish, then I painted my dunks with angelous paint -sealed with a matte spray clear sealer I think krylon.
Cracks when I wear them. I tried using mod podge regular acrylic paints
I’ve tried sealing with mod podge
Crack crack CRACK!!!
Help?

MOST LIKELY your paint coats are too thick , also probably need around 4-7 thin coats depending on material.

DO NOT SEAL WITH MOD PODGE, its not flexible!

ANGELUS PAINTS are meant for leather and are easily absorbed, rarely do they crack unless caked up layers
