i would cut off their limbs, let their wounds heal.  i would pour hot tar on their bodies and feather them.  throw them into the ocean with some sort of breathing apparatus.

if they have not been eaten or died via wildlife.  i would send a team of seals with spear guns to finish the job.  not the most creative way... but gives these %@#%$ a taste of their own medicine.

how would you do it?

As I posted in the other thread.

U.S. exempted BP's Gulf of Mexico drilling from environmental impact study

The Interior Department exempted BP's calamitous Gulf of Mexico drilling operation from a detailed environmental impact analysis last year, according to government documents, after three reviews of the area concluded that a massive oil spill was unlikely.

The decision by the department's Minerals Management Service (MMS) to give BP's lease at Deepwater Horizon a "categorical exclusion" from the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) on April 6, 2009 -- and BP's lobbying efforts just 11 days before the explosion to expand those exemptions -- show that neither federal regulators nor the company anticipated an accident of the scale of the one unfolding in the gulf.

Let's start with tar and feathers, some impeachements, and then jail time.

You are you to blame?

Do you consume ANY oil????

This was on the cutting edge of technology in the oil field. They needed a way to access the oil and they did. We as human use oil everyday it's in demand, so they were trying to meet supply.

Someone +++*%+ up. ##!% happens. Clean up the mess and move on.

This, but at the same time, we knew in the 70"s how to reduce our dependency on oil.

Obama should get a lot of HEAT with the slow Federal response to this disaster.

Obama talked all that crap about Bush and his slow response to Katrina... well here's your disaster Obama where is your response?  This happened on April 20... today is May 5,  that is 15 days.

For over 9 days, Obama remained silent on a Federal response and told us it was BP's fault and they need to clean it up.  It took him a week to just send people in his administration to coordinate a Federal response.

We indeed understand how to and we even have the technologies...
...however we have yet to make it affordable.

Solar = inefficient + expensive

Wind = Expensive + Visible Pollution + Kills birds.

Geothermal = Expensive and no possible on all areas of the map

Hydronic = Expensive and cumbersome.

This is true

Obama should be taking a lot of heat for this.

And anybody responsible for this mess on God's green earth should be put in the middle of the spill and see if they can swim out of it.

you sure about this or is that just what Fox has shoved down your throat?  and props for you for being able to count to 15.  I bet you almost did that all by yourself, which must have been hard while gagging on that teabag

Had this argument with someone earlier today. Think about it like this you use a rubber and it rips and she on the pill but the pill was not working so now she pregnant. Thats how you have to look at this. Yeah mad oil is in our ocean but its not like they did not have other precautions set in place to prevent things like this from happening. The only reason why they couldnt stop it was because the shut off value was/ is probably whacked. I say blame whoever made the safety system that failed. My two cents.

...the response was scaled up every time information came out that the situation got worse.
