Good oL Traditional Ballpark. Attendence is always been better than average, which is pretty good considering how they have played thepast 10yrs.
This year i hope we can just make the playoffs. When i lived in Dallas, i would make it a habit to go to 3-4 games a month minimum. Unfortunately the Ballparkis fairly new, so we wont see another any time soon. I just wish we could get another All-Star Game..

Funny you should say that...My job sent out email saying they are going to a Nat vs. Marlins game in August! and they want to know who wants to go?

I am not sure what the Nats attendance is now! But I am pretty sure the guy they drafted from San Diego St. is going to put people in seats once he progressand becomes their Ace.

^^ I have aways like the Outfield look of the Rangers and Bule Jays stadium.
brandonb2005- They have to work out a deal first Scott Boris is no joke.

visited, maybe. but those outfield bleachers are usuallyhalf full at best whenever i see a homer hit there during sportscenter highlights.

I am still not buying the whole visited claim. How can Dodger stadium lay claim to that with Wrigley & Fenway clearly having decades in existence on it?

Marlins....

How are the ticket prices?
Decent
What are your expectation for your team?
To win the NL Central
Anyone in need of a new stadium?
We just got one in 2006 and broke it in by winning the World Series

attendance seems kinda crap/mid grade. safeco field holds like 47k and it usually sems to be less than half full on tv
usually attend 1-2 a season
tickets are like $5-$60 or so and over like $150 for allstar club or w/e
3rd place

Dodger Stadium History

Simple answer is that Dodger Stadium seats almost twice what those stadiums do.

More than 125 million fans have visited the ballpark since it opened in 1962 awing spectators with a breathtaking view of downtown Los Angeles to the south; green, tree-lined Elysian hills to the north and east; and the San Gabriel Mountains beyond. The 56,000-seat Dodger Stadium has parking for 16,000 automobiles on 21 terraced lots adjacent to the same elevations as the six different seating levels. More than 3,400 trees cover the 300 acres of beautiful landscape, which is maintained by a full-time staff of gardeners. The Dodgers employ a full-time grounds crew and maintenance staff that keeps all aspects of the stadium in immaculate condition throughout the season making Dodger Stadium one of the best maintained facilities in the country.

At the gates, an average of more than 2.79 million fans have watched Dodger games at Dodger Stadium per season during the past 45 years. In 1978, Dodger Stadium became the first ballpark to host more than three million fans in a season when the Dodgers drew 3,347,845 in attendance. Following another three-million attendance mark in 1980, the Dodgers set the all-time Major League season attendance record in 1982, drawing 3,608,881 fans. Toronto, Colorado and Atlanta have since topped that mark, but the Dodgers can also boast seasons of more than three million in attendance from 1983-86, 1990-91, 1993 and 1996-2006. Nine of the top 25 NL single-season attendance marks have been recorded at Dodger Stadium.

As far as Dodger Stadium is concerned, it is the most visited, even before the old Yankee Stadium was replaced.

People forget that Red Sox games at Fenway didn't sell out prior to 2004,
laugh.gif
. "Greatest Fans in the World, Red Sox Nation"

roll.gif
. The 2004 ALCS didn't even sell out, when it looked likethe BoSox were going to get stomped by the Yankee's once again. Even then, a sold out night at Fenway is concidered a low attendance game at DodgerStadium...to put it in perspective. Today 38,000 people went through the turnstiles (Announced/Paid attendance was higher), and it was considered a so-sonight.

This year, attendance has been bad. Weekend games have been good, with the exception of this past weekend against the Phillies (Thank you ESPN for picking upSundays game and putting it head to head with Game 1 of the NBA Finals,

). Attendance in the pavilions has been consistently good, they are probably showingHR's in the late innings,

Hows The attendance?
It varies. Opening Day / Cross town Classic / Yankees/ Red Sox are all sell outs.

How many games do you plan to attend?

I've been to 5 and I'd go more often if I didn't have so many damn Cubs fans friends

smh.gif

How are the ticket prices?

You can get decent seats in the upper deck for $20 but I perfer to seat in the lower reserve which run for 30 - 40. I just went on "half off Monday"this past Monday.

What are your expectation for your team?

I expect them to play to their fullest ability. Leave it all on the field.

Anyone in need of a new stadium?

We're always making upgrades at the Cell

Hows The attendance?
It's been pretty consistent at the games i've attended so far this season. Last weeks series was terrible, 33k on average last week beforethe Phils came to town
How many games do you plan to attend?
I have a 15 game mini plan. Also have about 6-8 other games i've picked up to catch at Dodger Stadium aside from my travels to Anacrime, SanDiego and San Francisco (section 108

)
How are the ticket prices?
$9 gets you in, Ushers aren't sticklers about you moving around for the most part IMO. The $ for a seat in the dugout club would only get youon the back end of the field level of yankee stadium. Not a bad angle in the house.
What are your expectation for your team?
I've never seen this team this hot, so i'm taking it a day at a time. Ask me in November...
Anyone in need of a new stadium?
I hope I never see a Dodger home game outside of Chavez Ravine in my lifetime.

I think The Cubs and the Red Sox feel the same way

Hows The attendance?
Almost a sell out every game
How many games do you plan to attend?
Usually able to go to around 5-6 when I visit family back in NY
How are the ticket prices?
Expensive... Upperdeck is like $20 though, and they have promotions through out the season
What are your expectation for your team?
A World Series

That's pretty

Living in Los Angeles my whole life, I can honestly say that the Dodgers by far have the most loya fan base in Los Angeles. This town is usually a bandwagonhaven, but Dodgers fans bleed blue through thick and thin. I wonder how the final product will look when the stadium goes through its major renovations.
