I bought an HTC HD7 in January from a friend of mine. Recently, I went for a walk and when I returned home and took my phone out of my pocket, there was a big crack that started from the search button on the bottom right hand corner of the screen and ended in the center of the phone. the crack is on the screen, not the bezel, so I can't feel the crack but I can clearly see it when the phone is on and it annoys the hell out of me. I have no clue how this crack happened because sitting down cannot have possibly caused it. I'm sending it in for repair tomorrow, as my warranty expires on the 29th. I was told that water damage was not covered, as was voiding via tag removal. I believe this is a manufacturer error as many people have had problems with the phones being cheaply made and easily broken. Has anyone else had experience with warranty claims? How long does it take for companies to respond?
