I got my pair from Manor.com. I remember the rib like pattern was less pronounced on the originals. The quality is also lacking unfortunately. The leather isn’t as soft as original, the suede is rougher and is missing in a few spots on my pair. I might try to get another pair and hope for a better result.

The leather and suede is “supposed” to be premium vs. the all-star and other pairs. They are a bit softer but not of the same quality as the originals.
