I hated how the edges of the toe rand scuffed and peeled like that. Mine had the same problem and I only wore them casually.Still sad they never came out with IDs again. Here is my pair which I loved hooping in.

Yup. Diabolical for them to use this material on a shoe made to hoop in. Didn’t stand a chance. Other than that though, the shoe performed magnificently.

Hooped in my OTs today. Seem pretty solid for hooping as expected, but may need to be broken in a bit. Can’t decide if I like them more than the 38s I’ve been using.

It took a couple of hoop sessions, but my 2k4 OTs are broken in. Feel great. Note -I've been wearing the Nike Unicorn Crew Socks, which make a heck of a difference when hooping compared to regular socks.

Good to see they still retain the forefoot carbon fiber plate, that definitely added spring in the OGs. Waiting for them to drop the black/red/white or for the All Stars to go a little lower but I’m definitely scooping a couple pairs now that I know they have the OG tech. The forefoot bag actually looks bigger than the original met bags, good to see.
