Huarache 2K4 is Back 2026

I was gonna say, has anyone seen the white/red/black in an actual store? I haven’t been able to find them in LA and I’ve been on vacation in Michigan for the past week and can’t find them here, either.
Now I see the Foot Locker site says they are an exclusive. I probably just should’ve bought them last week when they were on sale for 20% off on there. I didn’t notice it said they were a Foot Locker exclusive when I looked at them last week, though. If I had noticed that at the time, I would’ve just done it.

I saw the pair in Kansas City, still retail price tho

Just wanted to give everyone an update on how my playing experience is in the Huarache 2k4 OT.

I had these shoes when they first came out back in 2004, so I was really excited that they were retroing.

First few hoop sessions told me these needed a lot of break-in. Once they were broken in, they felt better.

However, when comparing these to the Air Jordan 38s that I’ve been hooping in alongside them, I don’t think these are up to standard. At least not for me. The heel cushioning is a big issue and I’ve noticed multiple times having pain in my right heel after hoop sessions in them.

These are still pretty solid hoop shoes. I guess it may be depends on the type of socks or Support that your foot is used to.

So you’re telling me that a shoe designed with tech from 22 years ago isn’t as comfortable as a shoe made 3 years ago?

Yup! That’s what I thought. But what other reason would you buy this shoe if you were wearing it? It’s a hoop shoe. It’s worth noting for anyone thinking about getting it.

Be patient with them. The '07 lasers were the first 2K4s I hooped in, and they weren't very good for the first few wears, but after they broke in, they were one of my favorites for years. You could also just need more cushioning than you did 22 years ago 🤷‍♂️

They dropped a lasered up version in 2007, but i prefer these PE pairs he wore at the beginning of the 2004-2005 season

Must of missed it, they all blacked out. Great deal, though, thanks!
