With all the available knowledge and technology you would think we would be more advanced as a culture.

Almost everyone has a worldly library in their palms. But it does seem that people as a whole are getting dumber

I dont think intelligence itself is declining.
People do seem more ignorant and introverted nowadays but thats another story.

Plus there is a huge difference between intelligence and knowledge.
Knowing alot of things does not make one "smart".
Some things are just gained through experience and other factors.
