Humans and Music

With the passing of MJ, it has got me thinking, why do humans have such an universal appeal to music? It transcends languages and can ignite emotions, like italways existed, but we know humans made music. Sure bird songs and other nature sounds are like music, but our form of music is much more thought out. Also,even with tonal languages such as Chinese, we only use a very small band of what humans can perceive in tones...so why were we equipped with such a large tonespectrum. Puff puff pass

Just like they say laughter or a smile is universal so is music. There is a song in every genre I'm sure for anything you've probably ever felt in yourlife. It's something everyone can relate to regardless of nationality, race, and even language. How so many people relate to songs in English I don'tknow even if the artist does like a Spanish album do they do a whole Concert in Spanish?

I have yet to meet a person that doesn't like at least some type of music and i doubt i everwill.

If you put a whole bunch of people in a room who speak different languages and play any type of music it is a garuntee that the room will explode with joy,laughter, and in that monet everyone understands each other. Though not everyone is talented in music, I believe there is a song in every heart. Music isAMAZING!

You see a guy with a guitar at a party and hes playing it, what happens? Everyone crowds around him, and now hes in control of those people emotions. We allknow emotions control almost every facet of life. This was just something i felt as true.

"The Wiz MJ movie" I could smile, i could cry, or maybe lay down for a while.

Me and some random people (well friends of a friend) were outside my home girls house, high, tipsy, w/e. We were in a circle and just freestyling, waiting forthe next man to go. I was the stranger of the group, but they kept askin' me to spit, so and so and I did.

Music is strong. This thing can connect a group just like that.
