The new Hyperdunk Low looks amazing, but it's design and functionality reminds me alot of the Kobe IV. Both have Lunar foam/zoom air, low top, flywire, sowhat is the differences between the 2 in terms of performance? Is it just like a chopped version of the hyperdunk? Because if I remember correctly, people saidthe hyperdunk was better than the kobe iv...

who said that?

the hyperdunks were pure unfiltered crap. the lunar foam durability was measured in days/weeks instead of months/years. the traction wasnt that great. theywere extremely restrictive at the ankle.

i don't like the hyperdunk, because it runs real narrow, for me at least. it almost feels like its suffocating my foot.

as for the kobes, no complaints. solid shoe.

Since Nike like the squeeze every last penny out of the designs these days, i'm guessing the Hyperdunk low isn't suitable for anything but casual wear.

I'm guessing plans for the shoe's release hinged heavily on them moving large amounts of the McFly colorway... but as we know, that's not happeningnow.

According to eastbay, the HD low only has air in the heel for cushioning.

kobe iv, there is no comparison. hyperdunk lows don't even have real carbon fiber. i hope nike hasn't gotten away with some ppls money on those lol.

HD low has a half flywire body with the inside of the shoe being suede...
Kobe no question, and i'm not even a fan of the kobe IV!!!

I was thinking about this, and it said "Full-length Phylon[emoji]8482[/emoji] midsole with Air-Sole[emoji]174[/emoji] unit in the heel, coupled with midfoot wedge for lateralstability."

But on Niketown.com, it claimed to have a lunar/zoom setup like the hyperdunk mid/kobe iv:
"Full-length Phylon midsole with Nike Zoom unit in heel for low-profile, super-responsive cushioning"
"Lunar Foam in forefoot for ultra-lightweight cushioning"

Does anyone know which one it is? I'm thinking it's the air sole in the heel, because the picture of the outsole on niketown does not say"lunar" like the hyperdunk mid.
