I actually prefer the edited version over the explicit........

Co-sign but one thing I like that edited version has that unedited doesn't is the females harmonizing during the hook. To me it made the song better.

What about Move ***** by Ludacris? The original was too harsh. This topic also reminds me of Gwen Stefani's Banana song.

Nelly's Country Grammar clean version > Nelly's Country Grammar explicit version

Who else agrees?

The album version is terrible, I usually just play theradio version when I want to hear that song.

I agree on just about every track mentioned in here, especially The Dream's joints.

Oochie Wally is the goat. The sound FX makes me and boys laugh but the explicit is

Can I get A What What...

I personally like the Dream's OG version of "I luv Your Girl" adds a shock factor. I remember I was bumopin it at the light tho, and this oldcouple was on the street and heard it. They looked so disappointed in me.

The Dream's one song, "Playin' In Her Hair", I prefer the edited version over the explicit.

At the beginning when he says "thats me baby right there", sounds sooo much better than "thats my N' right there".

I know it means the same thing but "baby" just sounds better to me.

Eminem - My Name Is

Not neccessarily better, but just as good.

Although it does bring up the idea that is it really an edited version if the lyrics are just changed for radio? It's the same song but the lyrics aredifferent.

There's a little track by an artist out of Savannah GA, called Cut Friends. I'm sure you can figure out what the explicit version was, but the editedwas sooooo much better.
