I barely remember High School

What you talking bout OP. High school (class of 03) is still so memorable to me...how could you forget your first of everything (drank, girls, bball victories, all nighters for studying, summer homework, all night party, school dances, car, movies word to American Pie, etc).

Maybe it is because all 14 of my friend group from high school still is close.

I'll never forget high school. Did more than college did for me in terms of shaping who I am by a wide margin.

Graduated 4 years ago, saw some dude on my suggested friends list earlier this week who i completely forgot about- but i found it crazy cuz i was like damn we used to be cool but i just completely forgot he ever existed.

So I started wondering about how much I remember from high school and just like you OP i only remember a few teachers, few classes, extracurricular stuff i used to participate in.

I find it wild cuz damn this used to be everyday life - a very significant part of who i grew up to be at that. Kinda scares me too has me thinking the same, like do we just go about life and forget everything :(

I still talk to my main homie probably 3-4 times a week...its been like that since graduation in 09

The memory that stands out most vividly.....

09/11/2001...

English class, I walk in and I overhear and a couple others were talking about a plane just hit the WTC.

I didn't even bother to really acknowledge it with a response at first.

Just shrugged it off in my head like "nah, there's no way".

Few minutes later my teacher walks in, says we are going to the library to watch the news.

I'm sitting there shell-shocked, I walk into the library and sure enough on the TVs there's the WTC burning.

Minutes I watched later the 2nd plane hit the 2nd tower.

So surreal.

Nothing in my entire High School experience sticks out like that memory.
I remember that day vividly too, as I'm sure most people our age and older do. I was in physics class doing an experiment outside and when we went in the building everyone was going nuts. It's really crazy to think what life would have been like if that day never happened.

I'm in my early 30s now and it's to the point where ill bump into people from hs and they will recognize me, and I'm like damn some of these people look old and like **** now. LIke unrecognizable. :lol

Graduated high school in '07
I still remember all my teachers, most homework, problems from tests, lunch times, friends, locker numbers and combos...

Don't ask me what's coming up in my life though, I literally don't remember anything I'm supposed to get done.

In terms of care free fun I don't think I'll have a better year of fun than my senior year of highschool
I think so too i think junior year had a balance.
Senior year i worked and had all my credits so i attend 2 classes and left because i had go to work.
Junior year i was finishing up all my required credits which were pie and truly enjoyed school more since i didnt work.
I miss hs sometimes :(

I graduated HS 6 years ago, cant believe its been that long. I took my little sister to register for classes there a few weeks ago, man that place has changed. I had a great time in HS, but for all the wrong reasons and I'm paying the price for it today in college. There are things I wish I would have done much, much differently but I cant change what happened.

I've been bumping into more and more people from HS as of recent and all of them look old as hell and aren't doing too well in life.

Only forgot some teachers names...I remember everything else tho

This man once I broke up with my girl in hs
11-12 was just rampant amounts of hook ups partying every Friday Saturday don't think I can have those levels of care free fun now in my adulthood outside of going on vacation smh

Cmon yall :{ life is supposed to get BETTER after high school...:lol probably why I don't remember it.

Junior year, senior year, and the summer going into college was one of the best times of my life.

Never understood the kids that hated high school.  You're in a big building surrounded by your friends for 6 hours a day.

Say that again......

Graduated HS almost 10 years ago. I went back with some friends before they tore it down. I was surprised at how much I had forgotten and how small the hallways looked compared to when I was a student.

I remembered where my lockers were and some random events. Forgot most of the classes, teachers, and the other day-to-day stuff.

10 year reunion is next year and dont know if im going. Still talk to most of my HS friends to this day. Old HS crushes are now married, got kids, or completely fell tf off..

my group of friends had this bar we went to 2-3 times a week

was a dump but drinks were cheap (5 dollars for a pitcher of beer)

all the walls were just covered with our writing and we had our own large table where if someone was sitting on it and we came in the bartenders would ask dudes to find another table so that we could have our spot
