NYC people need to hit up El Vez

If it's what I'm thinking of, I think it's a chain....Ate there a few times, or at least a restaurant of the same name, in Philly.

Not saying it's bad, but it's far from the best Mexican food I've had.

Nah it's not a chain. Think this is the only one.

Chipotle is so white washed it's not even funny. I hate everything about that place, it's like the starbucks for fast food sloots.

As a Mexican I've given up on Mexican food in NYC. I had to try other cultures. Which is fine, Mexicqn food here is garbage and over priced. They don't marinate.

There was a late night taco truck I used to hit up in Astoria. The tacos and tortas were awesome.

Chipotle serves a purpose, and it serves it well. I don't know anyone who thinks Chipotle is better than the joints down the street

All of this.  Especially in Tucson.  We know where to take out of towners.
