Last night, when I was working on my homework in the garage, I heard this scratching noise by the door that leads into my backyard. I knew exactly what it was,a big cricket (I don't know what kind but it's big). I immediately turned off the computer and ran into my bedroom. I didn't kill it becauseusually these crickets come out around 11pm and leave, but when I woke up this morning to go finish my homework it was there. I thought it was just a leaf butthen I looked at it a lot closer and it was that cricket. I hate these things so much because they are big and hard to kill. It looked like it had already diedor was sleeping so I creeped into my room and laced up my timbs. When it was time to kill it I was hesitant because this thing was so big. I mustered up somestrength then I jumped on it. I didn't even really smash it (as you can see)!! The body shot away from my boot. I was in awe of how much mass these thinghad compared to the last one I had faced. I swept it into the street and it's body skid like it was a rat. Here is a picture and could someone identifywhat kind of cricket it is.

I can't get the full range of the size of it from the pic, none the less, picturing you slowly closing your computer and running to your room is hilarious;rollin.
