The Bulls were on its last legs. He chose to rebuild, but to me he started to early. The Bulls should've gotten at least 1 or 2 more season together.

it was not all jerry krause's fault (he is just the scapegoat). jerry reinsdorf deserves the blame too, it is his team and money. the nba was headinginto a lockout at the same time. they probably could have contended for another 2 yrs, but decided to rebuild. it was bound to happen. you should be moreconcerned with this current team and how it is being ran.

All those players were do for longer term contracts, as well as Phil.

That team won despite the Jerrys. You can only sustain success with antagonism for so long. It was the right time to break up that team.

That's what I thought too. They contended in 1994-95 without Jordan, why couldn't they try for the '99 season?

But I could see with the rebuilding thing ... but they didn't rebuild forward, they went backwards.

But that team was on its last legs. Rodman's defense decayed by the time the 98' Finals was done, Pippen's back was in bad shape, and he was allbut certain to leave, so he could ink a big money contract, and Jordan was runnin' on fumes.

The Heat, Knicks, and/or Pacers did have a legitmate shot knocked out the Bulls in 1999. If an Eastern Conference tea, didn't take care of business,then the Spurs, Jazz, or Lakers would've done it in the Finals.

The Pacers took the Bulls to 7 games in 1998, Pippen was a free agent, and he was certain to have left via free agency for his long over due pay day despitegiving the media/fans the PC answers on his pendng free agnecy, Rodman was a shell of his former self, and they had a few key free agents that were 50/50 onstaying. I admired the Bulls, but they were on it's last legs.
