Those Mobley/Francis teams in H Town were pretty fun to watch.
You still see a lot of "point guards" like that now who are high volume shooters: Westbrook, Rose, Tyreke Evans, etc. It's the afterglow of the early 2000s when Iverson, Marbury and Francis emerged.
A lot of purists disagree with the 1-2 hybrid type guards -- you know, they say "POINT GUARDS SHOULD PASS!"
And maybe they should. I enjoy fundamentals too.
But it's damn fun to watch 'em fly all over the court jacking shots and dunking on folks too.
