like 8-10 years ago I was on a road-trip and a buddy of mine and I stopped by Potomac Mills in VA and they actually had a starburry outlet.  My boy copped a pair of kicks for like $7.99 and I think a hoody.  Grand total was under $20 I was 

.  I didn't see him until a few months later, we was hooping, and his Starburry's legit self destructed on te court, like the shoes broke completely

You can have great craftsmanship with crappy materials (it's not likely) and vise-versa.

Materials are sourced a lot of the times and aren't owned or manufactured by factory. Companies will send patterns and materials to the factories.
