although the bright camo/shark/fruity stuff made the company money, i think it was ultimately its' downfall. originally, a bathing ape had a really nice plain and simple style that might have given them some longevity had they stuck to that.

Hoodies are extremely tacky. People still beast over the full zip shark hoodies, going for $300-$500. 

Some tees are too nice though.

Compared to who though? Have you seen the trash that has been produced by "streetwear" companies 10 deep is by far the better of the "streetwear" companies that are out in the US.

C'mon man this is like when you used to trash EVOs

A lot of the newer pieces are garbage but they used to be really decent in terms of design. The craftsmanship on the old BAPE varsity I had was second to none, great quality. Nigo's business plan ultimately killed the brand but there were a lot of good looking, quality pieces. Limited quantity meant not many knew that, though.
