I WANT DIRECT TV.

For those who have it, HOW IS IT COMPARED TO CABLE TV? I have time warner and Im not all that satisfied. I have 2 nice tvs and I dont think Im putting them togood use with REGULAR cable. . OR WHAT KIND OF SERVICE DO YOU HAVE?? Any recomendations?

DirecTV is good money, I've been with them since the beginning of time..

Switched from comcast to directv last september... pretty happy with it overall. They always run sign-up specials, where you can get a dvr thrown in for free,or maybe even get basically every single channel for free if you buy the NFL ticket package (which is like 90 bucks a month for 4 months) --- this is what wegot last year, very happy with it. Then we cut our package back to some more basic thing, but it's still pretty good.

Signal has never gone out since we got it.. we get all our locals still except for like public access stuff.

Don't have anything HD yet, so i can't comment on that.. but i know they offer a ton of HD programming.

I mess with DirecTV hard... I can't live with out DVR....And the signal down here is so strong.. Still works in the rain. Rarely goes out.

Both Comcast & WOW HDs are trash. I'm definitely considering switching for more HD programming.

I've had Direct TV since about September also. No real complaints, it does go out if it is storming outside, but no more than like 10 minutes and its back.The HD is great

Comcast is about as big of a rip-off as you can get

nothing touches the DirecTV HD package...so many channels in the HD format...

direct tv is good for the sports packages and its a little cheaper than cable in my area. the only thing i dont like it has no on demand. directv also hasCurrent TV and cable dosent

It gotta be some really heavy rain for it to F up your signal.When i lived with my parents the first year we had it it only messed up twice for a couple hrsbut both times it was during Entourage.

Ive had many services over the years but, I have stayed with Direct TV because my 46 inch looks great with the HD channels they provide, and not to mentionthey have the YES channel. IMO you should get the service, do you have any friends that have the service now cause you can get $50, it worked for me!
