Been studying theology at my university for the last 2 years and I am frustrated w/ the loop holes and the mistakes the bible make scientifically andperiodically.

There are many very good English translations of the Qua ran available my best advice is to read one for yourself and not receive information about itsecondhand at least not without reading it

go to your school library & rent every book about Islam you can find... then just read all of them

also dont listen to the skew the media puts on everything related to Islam.

Well, first off your starting on the right path. I'd really recommend obtaining a Qur'an. the best translation in english would be Yusef Ali, as ithas very very very good footnotes in english which really show you the meaning of the verse. ( This being as english as a language isnt as in depth compared toarabic). If you are near a mosque or if there is an Muslim Student Association group near you contact them. If you need help getting a Qur'an, please letme know and I might be able to get one shipped to you.

Also I can probably send you some basic books on science and Islam, and Islam in general. One funny thing about it, alot of scientific discoveries such asfresh water and salt water not mixing, were described in the Qur'an a long time ago. So shoot me a PM or email, and I can hook you up. Truth. I find it amazing that the vast majority of people do not know that Judaism, Islam, and Christianity all share the same God. All Abrahamicreligions. Sibling rivalry. Pretty petty silly stuff.
